PAC 8 Summer Media Classes 2025
Session 1: June 2 to June 5 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon
Beginning Video for 4th to 8th graders
Basic camera techniques, editing with Adobe Premiere, audio.
Students will do a documentary on PEEC.
Session 2: June 2 to June 5 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
GoPro Video for 4th to 8th graders
Using the Hero 9 Black, students learn Time Warp, Time Lapse, Slo Mo, Live Burst. Also, editing with Adobe Premiere.
Session 3: June 9 to June 12 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon
Beginning/Intermediate Video for 4th to 8th graders
Basic camera techniques, editing with Adobe Premiere, audio.
Students will do a documentary on SALA.
Session 4: June 9 to June 12 1:00 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Drone Flight & Videography for 4th – 8th graders.
This course is taught by a FAA Certified Remote Pilot. Students will learn drone flying skills, safety, regulation, flight maneuvers, how to get good drone footage and video editing in this course.
Session 5: June 16 to June 19 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon
Intermediate video for 4th - 8th graders. Students create several
TikTok videos. Students will make short-form videos from genres such as dance, comedy and education. Students will learn how to use a Smartphone Gimbal Handheld Stabilizer.
Session 6: June 16 - June 19 1:00 p.m. to 4 pm

Stop motion animation for 3rd - 6th graders. Students learn the basics of 2-D and 3-D stop motion animation.
Session 8: June 23 - June 26 1:00 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Special effects for 4th - 8th graders. Students use the Green Screen and Adobe Premiere to create special effects in their video.
Session 9: July 21 - July 24 9:00 a.m. – 12 noon.

Starting a Kids YouTube Channel for 4th - 8th graders. Students will develop ideas and topics for their own YouTube channel. Students learn how to find copyright free music and images that they can use in their YouTube videos and then produce their first videos on their channel.
Session 13: August 4 - August 7 9:00 a.m. – 12 noon.

All classes are FUN. Class size limited to 6 students per teacher. Scholarships are available for 2 or more children in the same family in the same class. Sessions are $135.00. Classes fill up fast.
